As training requirements will be different from company tocompany, Meeka OHS Consulting does an on-site assessment to evaluate which safetytraining is needed. This assessment takes 1 day to complete. Department of Labor Inspectorsask for training records, especially for First Aid and SHE Representatives. And theappointment letters for staff that received certificates. SHE Representatives, First Aiders, Fire Fighters, Cleaning employees, Drivers of Forklifts, and company vehicles, all have inspections and checklists that they need to complete on a daily and monthly basis.
Housekeeping inspections (Environmental Regulations for Workplaces) are included in this process. And Housekeeping initiatives can be implemented too. The legal requirement for these inspections is stated in the General Administration Regulations (GAR) in the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Training on how to conduct these inspections can be done by Meeka OHS Consulting.
